The answer is no, Microsoft Teams voice and video conversations are recorded without an SBC being required.
The SBC is needed just to record in hybrid environments, that is, when beyond Teams also legacy PBXs are involved.
Recorded files are stored in the same repository: in Mida Playback Station you will find all recordings, no matter what the source was.
Pay per traffic means you pay just according to the traffic volume you record. This implies no minimum seat is required. (E.g. Traffic cost is the same if you have 10 or 50 users).
When you reach the traffic limit purchased, Mida Recorder will get you covered! It will continue recording, so you will not lose a single conversation.
When you will try to access recordings from Mida Playback Station, an alert will notify you that you need to buy additional traffic to be able to access recordings again.
Yes, it can be done on a NAS or other storage systems. It can also be scheduled to be done automatically.
Recordings can be retrieved in 2 different ways:
- from Mida Playback Station- the easy-to-use GUI from where you can search, download and playback recorded files.
- through APIs- third-party applications can retrieve the recordings to provide AI services, Sentiment Analysis and much more.
